• Abstract

  In 1991, B-Y Chen states a very interesting conjecture that every biharmonic submanifold is minimal. From then, many researchers proved the conjecture in several cases. In this short note some old and new results concerning this conjecture are presented. Furthermore a generalization of this conjecture and the relation with harmonic maps is given.
